St Lucia Yoga & Wellness
Start your day with fresh local fruit, followed by a gentle st lucia yoga and meditation class. Hike one of the islands nature trails and return in time for a relaxing massage.
Our St Lucia yoga and wellness activities perfectly complement the beautiful and tranquil natural environment at Balenbouche. Our yoga studio is a rustic and charismatic barn which like most of our structures, creates a flowing transition between inside and outside.
Classes are open to all levels and led either informally by a family member, or by a certified yoga instructor (minimum of 4). Please let us know in advance if you’re interested! The yoga studio, mats and blocks are available anytime for your personal practice.
Several times a year, we offer st lucia yoga retreats focused on meditation, mindfulness, nutrition, life coaching, art, sustainable living and more
Our retreats are small and highly personalized, typically between 6 – 12 participants. Retreats are organized and led by local or overseas certified instructors, and over half of these are repeat and regular customers.

Nutrition & Detox
Delicious, whole and plant-based food is a large part of your well being and overall experience at Balenbouche.
Breakfast is offered every day and dinners 2-4 times a week. All meals are freshly prepared using largely local and organic ingredients, some grown on the estate. We can tailor our menu to your special needs if you let us know in advance. We offer special detox, weight loss and nutrition programs several times a year, typically as part of a retreat.

Several times a year, we offer retreats focused on st lucia yoga, mindfulness and healthy, sustainable living.
Through our network of professional teachers and therapists, we can arrange a wide range of different massages and other therapies such as Reiki, Reflexology, and Life Coaching. Most classes and treatments take place right here at Balenbouche and can be booked individually in advance.

Get active on your holiday and explore one of the many nearby St Lucia walking and hiking trails, such as the Tet Paul Nature Trail, the Saltibus rainforest and waterfall, Morne le Blanc, Moule a Chique and Anse L’Ivroigne. The more advanced can climb to the top of the Gros Piton and Petit Piton, 2619 ft/800 m and 2460 ft/750 m.
Note: Most trails require a guide, which helps ensure your safety and creates local employment. Please check with us or your hotel before visiting one of the trails.
