St Lucia Heritage Tour
Balenbouche offers one of the best St Lucia heritage tours which includes an 18th century sugar mill, plantation house, grounds and beaches. We are open to the public 7 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm; you can drop in anytime for a self-guided tour, photo shoot or picnic. We also host guided tours and private events such as weddings, retreats, family reunions, schools, youth and church groups. Please call ahead +1758 455-1244.
Local juice, beer, tea, coffee, or a light snack can be ordered when you arrive. Meals are not offered every day and must be booked 24 hours in advance.
Breakfast is offered every day and may be booked by resident guests or visitors the day before. Once or twice a week during the winter season, we offer a special plantation buffet dinner which is open to non resident guests. If you arrive early, you can do our St Lucia Heritage tour before having dinner on the veranda of the 180 year old plantation house.
Our cuisine is a blend of Caribbean and International dishes using largely local, fresh, and whole ingredients. We can accommodate special diets by request. Read more about Dining at Balenbouche Estate

The duration of our guided st lucia heritage tour is about 30 – 40 minutes, tailored to the interests of each visitor. A family member will personally show you around and answer any questions you might have. After the tour, you are free to explore on your own or stay for dinner (please make reservations in advance).

Please check in at the main Plantation house to pay the entrance fee and receive a short introduction and directions. Bring a picnic, go for a swim at one of our beaches, and spend as much time as you like.
