The Annual St Lucia Jazz Festival

The St Lucia Jazz Festival, established in 1992, has become the islands' biggest annual event. It is usually held during the first two weeks of May, and encompasses multiple shows of acoustical/straight ahead jazz, new age jazz, fusion, rhythm and blues. The diverse group of artists are from the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe. The event culminates in the main stage show at the Pigeon Island National Park in Gros Islet, in the north of the island.
