Almond Cottage
The Almond Cottage is the smaller of our two bedroom st lucia villas
for rent. It offers 2 spacious bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, and a small kitchen.
One of the bedrooms has a twin bed (two single beds) with a standard bathroom and shower, the other bedroom has a king-sized bed and
a “’waterfall” style shower,
built with natural stone and surrounded by tropical vegetation.The bright and cool veranda of the Almond Cottage invites you to relax
on our one-of-a kind “swinging lounge chairs.” |

Banyan Cottage
This caribbean villa is our largest cottage, which can sleep up to 6 people.
However, the Banyan Cottage is also the perfect romantic
escape for two.
The Banyan offers 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped
kitchen, a secluded veranda with a view of the Balenbouche Banyan
Tree, and a living room with an additional sleeping area.
The remodeled historic Banyan Cottage incorporates many West Indian
architectural elements and has a very open layout. The romantic bathrooms are surrounded by tropical foliage,
one with rose-tiled shower and bath, the other with a waterfall
style outdoor shower and sink set in beautiful red cedar wood. |

Frangipani Cottage (1 bedroom)
The Frangipani Cottage is a rental home with an interesting history:
It was built from the seasoned tropical wood of a traditional West Indian "Chattel" House,
and an old village "Dance hall" (nightclub). It was largely rebuilt in the
style of the traditional house, with some improvements, such as higher ceilings, glass french doors, and increased
light and ventilation areas. The Frangipani Cottage offers
a king-sized bed, a dressing room, a semi-outdoor bathroom, and
a small front balcony. It is situated in a
beautiful secluded palm and bamboo cove, shaded by a massive gum tree. A quaint gazebo, outdoor seating area and barbeque are
just a few yards away. This Saint Lucia rental home does not currently offer any
self-catering facilities. |

Calabash Cottage (1 bedroom, 1 bath, refrigerator)
The Calabash Cottage is one of our smaller rental homes, suitable for a single person or couple. It has a very nice wooden deck shaded by palm trees and overlooking the gardens. The Calabash Cottage offers a cozy bedroom with Queen sized bed and attached bathroom, and an adjoining dressing/reading corner (large enough for an extra single bed if neccessary), This cottage does not currently offer any self-catering facilities, however, guests staying in the cottage have access to the kitchen in the nearby Plantation House. |

Dining
Our guests have the option of preparing their own meals in the
villas (Banyan and Almond villas have self-catering facilities), sampling our delicious cuisine,
or eating our at one of the nearby local restaurants. All our
meals are freshly prepared using local ingredients, and inspired by Creole, Asian
and European cuisine. We prepare breakfast every day and dinner 2 - 5 nights per week. A light lunch is available by request.

Balenbouche is the perfect St. Lucia hotel for
a group activity. We can sleep up to 12 people, and additional
beds can be placed in rooms for larger groups. Our rate for groups
of 8 or more is between 10% - 20% lower than the regular room rate.
We have hosted yoga retreats, artists retreats, academic field schools,
